Usually, but not always. Marzipan charges a flat monthly fee for your revenue band with no transaction fee on order value, while Commerce7 adds 0.75% to 1.5% of sales on top of its monthly fee. At some points within a band, Commerce7 can work out cheaper, but across most of each band Marzipan comes out lower, and because the fee is fixed you can forecast your costs exactly rather than watching them rise with every sale.
