EU rules mean every bottle sold into the EU needs an e-label behind a QR code, carrying the ingredients, nutritional information and other detail that will not fit on the back label. That information is mostly the same information you already hold about the wine in Marzipan. This integration means you enter it once.
About Labls
Labls is our own e-label tool, built because the wineries we work with needed one and the alternatives were priced for larger drinks companies. It is a separate product with its own free tier, and you do not need Marzipan to use it.

What the integration does
Products link to e-labels. Connect your Labls account and link a Marzipan product to its e-label, either by matching an existing one on SKU or by creating a new e-label straight from the product.
Map the fields once. Decide which Marzipan product fields fill which e-label fields, and that mapping applies from then on. The attributes an e-label needs can be created in Marzipan in one step if you do not already have them.
Changes carry across. With auto sync on, saving a linked product pushes the mapped fields to its e-label, so correcting an alcohol percentage or an allergen in Marzipan does not leave a stale e-label live behind a QR code that is already on a bottle. There is a bulk push for every linked product when you want to force the issue.
Ingredients stay where they belong. The parts of an e-label that have no equivalent in a shop product, ingredients and nutritional declarations, are edited in the e-label panel on the product itself rather than in a second tab.
QR codes and images from the same screen. Download the QR code for a wine at the size and format your label printer wants, and push the product image across so the e-label looks like the bottle.
Who this is for
Anyone selling wine into the EU needs e-labels, so the question is not really whether to have them but how much work they cost you each vintage. If your product list already lives in Marzipan, running Labls alongside it turns e-labelling into a field mapping you set up once rather than a second catalogue to maintain by hand.
Setting it up
Connect your Labls account from the integrations screen, choose the brand new e-labels should be created under, set your field mapping and turn on auto sync. Ten e-labels are free, so you can link a few wines and see the shape of it before committing. Get in touch if you would like a hand.
