With WineDirect winding down its commerce platform, a lot of wineries are being moved on a deadline. You don't have to accept the default option. Which platforms do you move people from?

Most commonly WineDirect, Commerce7, WooCommerce, Shopify and Squarespace. If you're on something else, get in touch . The process is much the same.

Will my wine club members have to re-enter their details?

We bring members and their club tiers across. Saved cards are a separate question: they are held by the payment provider, not the platform, so whether they can move depends on your current provider and how it is set up. Where they cannot, members re-confirm a card at their first renewal. We will tell you exactly which applies to your setup before you commit to moving.

How long does a move take?

It depends on how much data you have and the platform you're leaving. Most boutique wineries are up and running quickly. The best next step is a short call so we can look at your current setup and give you a realistic timeline.

One honest caveat: whether your members' saved cards come with them depends on the platform you are leaving and how its payment provider is set up. Some will hand over the stored payment methods; others hold them in their own account and will not, in which case members re-confirm a card at their first renewal. We will tell you which of those you are dealing with before you commit to moving, not on renewal day.
