If your fulfilment runs through ScrubBill, Marzipan sends orders to it directly. The warehouse gets what it needs to pick and pack, and when the parcel goes out the tracking reference comes back into Marzipan on its own. Nobody logs into two systems to keep them in step.
About ScrubBill
ScrubBill is order management and fulfilment software used across the UK drinks trade. It sits between your sales and your warehouse, handling the picking, packing and carrier side of getting bottles to customers.
For a winery it tends to come into its own once order volume outgrows a spreadsheet and a courier account. The pieces that used to be manual, working out which carrier service an order should go on and getting tracking back to the customer, are the pieces this integration removes.
What the integration does
Orders go across automatically. When an order is ready to fulfil, Marzipan sends it to ScrubBill with the customer, address and line items already on it. If a send fails it is retried rather than dropped, and you are notified if it still cannot get through.
Shipping service per order. Set a default shipping service for everything, and override it on individual orders where a different service makes sense.
Tracking comes back. When ScrubBill dispatches, the waybill number and tracking link are written back to the shipment, the order is marked as shipped, and your customer gets the dispatch email with a reference they can actually use.
It fits into order flows. Sending to ScrubBill is available as a step in Marzipan order flows, so you can decide which orders go automatically and which wait for someone to look at them first.
Your own order references. Set a store prefix so the order numbers arriving in ScrubBill are recognisable as yours, which matters if more than one shop feeds the same warehouse account.
Setting it up
You will need your ScrubBill account credentials. Enter them on the integrations screen, set a store prefix and a default shipping service, and test it against a real order before switching order flows over. Get in touch and we will set it up with you.
